What’s up everyone!!!
It has been a while since my last post. Don’t worry, I am good, mostly. I just went through something in my life and I still am.
Okay, enough with that, let us talk about Joker! Man, where to start? Right now, my mind is still in awe on what transpired in the film. WARNING! If you are planning to view the film, make sure to bring someone, especially if you are mentally unstable. There are scenes that will jog your head.
Joker is extraordinary. Every scene will leave you at the edge of your sit. It certainly is the best film of the year! Words are not enough on how to describe the film. Joaquin Phoenix’s portrayal of The Clown Prince of Crime is exceptional. He will leave you guessing his next move, scene after scene. From its score, to the cinematography, to the story, everything was perfect. It is truly an exceptional film for our generation.
But the film offers its audience a warning. This is a film about a man being driven mad by society, being neglected by everyone around him, and even being made fun of due to his condition. The film is a cautionary tale to everyone. People have long neglected mental health and this film offers us a glimpse to what will happen to someone like Arthur Fleck being pushed around, being made fun of, and worse of all being trashed by society.
Joker is a warning to everyone that we need to be careful on what we say and do to people with mental illness. It is no joke. Mental illness is no joke, my friends. People with mental illness should be handled with care and not be pushed around.
The film is a timely story for this generation and a cautionary tale for everyone. It should serve as an example to our society that we can create the very thing that we dread.
Verdict for the film. I will give it a perfect 10/10. A must watch!
