Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Delayed, Again!

One of the most anticipated video games of the year, namely Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, has been delayed once more. This is according to Bloomberg which has an insider regarding this matter.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a multiplayer game developed by Rocksteady, the company that brought us the Batman: Arkham series, except Origins. This would star notable comic book baddies such as Deadshot, Harley Quinn, King Shark, and Captain Boomerang. Their objective is to eliminate the Justice League which is now under the control of Brainiac.

Originally to be released last 2022, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was then announced that it would be pushed back to May 2023. Recently, during the PlayStation event, a gameplay trailer was released. It showed us character maneuverability, customization options, and more. However, fans were divisive about what they saw, especially regarding its service elements, purchasable cosmetics, and online requirements.

Now, no comments were given by Warner Bros. yet. The new release date for the game has also not yet been disclosed, just a vague late 2023 release.

Video game delays are a common thread in the industry. This is to meet certain expectations and to fix bugs and issues found before the release date. According to the unnamed person who disclosed the details, the delay of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League would not change its core game mechanics which led to its backlash.
